Sarah M. Hurt Gallery
Indianapolis Art Center
Indianapolis, IN
Using hand-blown Plexiglas, artist Kristina Arnold relies on her background in health and medicine to transform the Sarah M. Hurt Gallery into a modular world of colorful cartoon-like cells. The Plexiglas, a metaphor for our plastic society, studies Americans’ obsession with surface beauty and our manipulation of the human body, both inside and out.
